In Addendum.

My previous rant gave me fuel for what I think would be an interesting ad campaign to lower cellphone usage.

Picture this.

You're riding the subway, and on one of those overhead ads you see a picture of a guy riding the subway with a porno mag, and one hand clearly down his pants with the caption at the bottom reading, "Some Things Are Better Left At Home", followed by a message to stop cellphone usage.

You're riding the bus, and on one of the ad walls you see a picture of an elderly man boarding a bus wearing ass-less chaps with the caption at the bottom reading, "Some Things Are Better Left At Home", followed with a message to stop texting.

Finally, a large billboard with a picture of a couple on a park bench with a blanket on top of them clearly having sex with the caption "Some Things Are Better Left At Home", with a message saying "Brought to you by the Anti-Networking Coalition" or some such.

I'd enjoy that.

  1. Maybe, but what about the guy getting on the bus behind the assless chappy guy. Lots of cheek, but no chaps. And I bet, for a guy of his age, no cell phone. (mini-rant)
